Summer Wedding | Parc Golf Club | Cardiff Photographer
When I photographed this summer wedding at Parc Golf Club, (a hidden gem between Cardiff and Newport just off the A48) it had been a week of solid rain. As a professional photographer you need to be ready for what the great british weather has to offer and I seriously thought that I was going to have to call upon some wet-weather strategies for this wedding in August, but on the actual day, the sun shone with all it's might!!
There is a funny (but not so funny at the time) story behind the day that this photograph came from.
As I mentioned, this was taken in the august, but the couple were meant to tie the knot in the may of the same year.
With little notice, the couple found themselves having to reshedule the whole event, as the registrar was no longer available on their original date. August 8th was the only day Newport registry office had left available for the whole of 2015, and luckily Parc were still available on that date.
It must have been fate that this happened, because on their original date the sun barely came from behind the clouds, yet you'd be forgiven for thinking this was during the middle of a heat wave. Location: Parc Golf Club, Newport, South Wales.
